[Novalug] Samba / domain auth

Is anyone using Samba for doing a domain auth on a share? I just want to 
auth the users that map the share, I don't want to join the domain 
(unless I have to) or do anything else with pam/other application user 
control. I also don't want to have to add anyone to the box, just let 
anyone in domain X map this share.  Donig some google searching but I 
keep getting either really old documents or how to set up a machine to 
to total AD authentication.

What options should I be looking for?
