[Novalug] OT landline phone service, carriers other than Verizon?

Not  the only confusion in this thread.  Doesn't appear that many of the
potential carriers will be available to me because I can't get a wired
Internet connection to the house and they want to do digital phone.  The
only 'wires' into my subdivision are Verizons and the Power company.

Unless what I have learned is incorrect, Verizon is all I can get.   I can
probably save a few dollars by 'bundling' DirecTV with the phone but thats
about it.
