[Novalug] which drawing tool?

For things like this I use xfig. It allows you to export the picture
you make in many different file formats: one of the choices is
two files (encapsulated postscript, eps, and pdf).
Jpg and png images can be imported into OpenOffice (or LibreOffice)
documents: eps is the right format for documents typeset with
TeX (which is what I use for these things).
