[Novalug] EeMachine mini tower EL1200-05w anyone ever put linux on one?

thanks to all who have suggested a different graphics card for the 
eMachine.

unfortunately the eMachine is one of these cheap compact computers and the 
only slot in it at all is a tiny slot that has the card that accepts the 
network cable.


eMachines have two memory slots, plug in for a sata harddrive and a 
sata DVD and that is it.  no wonder they were so cheap.

i am about to try a number of suggestions that have been made that do not 
involve a different graphics card however. will report back. have to 
disconnect my main computer to use the monitor with the e-machine cause my 
desk is too small for two monitors and we have a terrible case of 
unresolved horizontal surface disease at the moment so no other easy 
place to set stuff up.

horizontal surface disease was aggravated by the recent episode of 
plumbing dysfunction.
