You didn't mention any speed or bandwidth specs.  I just procured a 1U rack
mountable case from itxdepot.com, that holds 2 mini-itx boards.

I just configured a system there with two 1.5TB drives for RAID. and 8GB RAM
for around $833.  Call Paul if you need support / have questions.  NEVER had a
bad transition yet.
