[Shenlug] Daylight savings time

I know that with our Red Hat systems we have to update glibc on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 2.1 and we have to update tzdata on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 and 4 systems.

Once you have grabbed the new package through up2date, you will need to run redhat-config-date (2.1 or 3) or system-config-date (4) to update the obsolete /etc/localtime file. This just involves choosing the timezone tab and ensuring that the correct country and locale are selected. For Suse it is covered as long as you have at least these versions:
- SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 8 SP4- SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 SP3 and Novell Linux Desktop 9 SP3- SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 (Desktop and Server)
And for Java....

But, I have not dealt with the Java stuff. I'm sure if you follow the article you should be good.
That is all for the systems I deal with.
