Video and voice conferencing has always been real pita unless everyone
uses the same network/software and even then, there's problems. It's a
lot better than it was 5 years ago, though.
I've created* an IRC #shenlug channel on irc.freenode.net and will hang
out there (when I'm online, which is 9-6 Mon-Fri.) If you have an IRC
client (chances are, you do) then come say Hi.
*IRC channels are created dynamically and without any authorization.
That's why they're so popular.

This is exactly what NovaLUG did - www.novalug.com. I forget who,
exactly, set it up but I can find out if you like.
