Not if the functionality really is robust and maintained.  If it
conflicts with similar XEmacs functionality, deprecate the XEmacs API.

Or are you proposing that portability of code between XEmacs and GNU
Emacs should no longer be one of our goals?  If it is a goal, then
sometimes we have to make unpleasant decisions like deprecating a
better API, or trying to convince GNU to adopt ours.
