[Bug: 21.4.12] gnuserv exits

Dear Bug Team!
I cannot start gnuserv. Each time I start it either by using M-x
guserv-start or from the init.el file it exist immedistely with the
error message: Gnuserv process exited; restart with 'M-x
gnuserv-start' (which is, of course, impossible). Any ideas how to
solve the problem?
