[Bug: 21.5-b22] kill-ring-save leads to busy loop

(Un?)fortunately, not for me.

1)  Are you sure it's a busyloop?  Try giving it an hour.  (I'm pretty
    sure that even Motif protocol won't take that long.)

2)  Can you reproduce with xemacs -vanilla?

3)  What are the values of

    interprogram-cut-function
    interprogram-paste-function
    x-selection-strict-motif-ownership
