Macos 10.4.2, xemacs 21.4.17 from source, bus error on startup

Then Fink is broken, I would guess.  This smells of the distro
arbitrarily breaking binary compatibility by installing libXaw3d as
libXaw.

There's not much more we can do about this kind of thing; we already
go through substantial contortions in configure attempting to detect
it.  If you want to hack on configure.{in,ac}, I'll be happy to
review, though.
