while googling for dmacro.el I came across with a package with sounds extremely interesting and I was interested for year, that is transforming macros in lisp code. It seems that macros-generate.el is supposed to do this, alas the link in the Emacs Lisp List is dead. Anybody knows about that package. Uwe Brauer
