One case where it would give a problem is when two or more developers
would want to cooperate on somethings and feel like the main packages
repo is a good place to do that. This has been pointed out before.

I think that there are some good alternatives for these
developers. One could be to use their bitbucket accounts and set up a
repo for the package they are working with and collaborate
there. Pushing to the main packages repo when there is a stable or
sharable version.

If you want to backup your work and want to push for that reason I
think we could suggest using normal backup procedures instead to
secure the workspace.
