Thanks very much, Jeff.  I've committed this to 21.5.  Incidently,
this patch is really only needed for info's built with makeinfo
versions newer than 4.6, but it doesn't hurt makeinfo 4.6 so it's
ok.:-) 

I'll also add this to SXEmacs.
