Right, the patch is completely premature, sorry for having sent it.  I
messed up the CVS entries entirely. Now that can be repaired in a
fairly simple way, however as it turns out there is a much more
serious problem.  The auto-autoloads file should contain the content
of tex-site.el but it does not. I have been looking into the Makefile
as provided by the auctex team, they generate a auto-loads.el file
which contains tex-site, but then how auto-autoloads is generated is a
mystery to me.  Unfortunately nobody on the auctex list responded to
my questions so far. Mats Lidell told that he will have a look in the
coming days.
