Hmmh, I just checked.
Even though named.reload did not complain:
(adrian at gwyn) /etc/named/xemacs $ sudo /etc/named/named.reload
sudo /etc/named/named.reload
Password:
(adrian at gwyn) /etc/named/xemacs $
I still see the old serial number now, hours later:
(adrian at gwyn) /etc/named $ dig +short xemacs.org. soa
dig +short xemacs.org. soa
gwyn.tux.org. hostmaster.xemacs.org. 2007092600 5400 3600 7200 5400
(adrian at gwyn) /etc/named $
What might be wrong?
