MX service issues

Hi Simon,
FYI, we've had some trouble with service from mejsel, some posts have
been delayed up to 8 days. I realize that this probably is related to
the greylisting issues that I'm still working on with Tux.org, so no
need to do anything on our behalf. But I wonder if something weird
isn't going on over and above that problem.
Also, I had one mail addressed to an @xemacs.org user rejected
outright because yxa couldn't get a PTR on mejsel [213.180.89.202].
The message is attached below (each line is stuffed with the prefix
"| "). I can't get reverse DNS either:
chibi:xemacs steve$ host mejsel.cust.ipeer.se
mejsel.cust.ipeer.se has address 213.180.89.202
mejsel.cust.ipeer.se mail is handled by 255 mail.mejsel.cust.ipeer.se.
chibi:xemacs steve$ host 213.180.89.202
Host 202.89.180.213.in-addr.arpa not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)
chibi:xemacs steve$ host mail.mejsel.cust.ipeer.se
mail.mejsel.cust.ipeer.se has address 213.180.89.202
Seems strange for an MX in this paranoid day and age.
Regards,
Steve

| Thank You for your so prompt answer !
|
| I am running FC8 which is freshly installed (tuesday Jan 15)
| with:
| xemacs-21.5-b28 which is a beta version, yet the only one available with
| yum and FC8:
| installed by yum on wednesday with [yum install xemacs*]
| Enclosed is the custom.el file that has been working fine for YEARS,
| including FC6. (I never used FC7)
| It is started with:
|
| xemacs -fn -*-courier-medium-r-*-*-*-180-*-*-*-*-iso8859-* -geometry
| 132x46+150+0 ~/
|
| The xemacs -vanilla shows correctly the lines and column numbers.
| even after a [load-file custom.el] (the one attached) They do not show
| at the same place as before in the bar, though.
|
| When started with:
| xemacs -geometry 132x46+150+0 ~/
| the numbers do not show either. (the custom file is then automatically
| loaded). same place as above in the bar.
|
| The vanilla option seems to provide a better flavour :>]
