Hi Everyone, just wanted you all to be among the first to know before we
go public. Jordan
---------------------
*Relatively sane day walker needed!*
Want to see if you have what it takes to be a developer at Antharia?
Heres your chance. Antharia is looking to add another PHP/MySQL
developer to its ranks. Antharia offers web based software solutions to
nonprofit organizations, associations and conscious corporations. As a
developer you would be working with our clients and even closer with the
rest of our development team to fulfill our clients needs. Some of our
clients include the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, Climate Policy Center, and
the Humane Society of the United States. It is important that you feel
comfortable with our client base.
*Philosophy*
First and foremost, to work at Antharia you have to be on the same page
with our philosophy. You can read oodles about it at:
http://www.antharia.com/philosophy/index.php but the short of it is that
you must be unafraid to lead, be ready to do what it takes, and
understand that at the end of the day the least of what we produce is a
website.
The Description
The ideal candidate will be solid in PHP/MySQL and unafraid to try,
comment-out, echo, and carefully steamroll through a china shop. This
unhindered avenger will feel comfortable:
- Using PHP / MySQL within the framework of Antharias web based product
suite to modify existing software to fit client needs.
- Creating new products in PHP / MySQL to expand the product suite.
- Installation and customization of the suite of products.
- Creating and fixing live client sites based on our CMS.
*The Requirements*
- Excellent familiarity with PHP, MySQL, Javascript, Dreamweaver, HTML
and CSS.
- Experience with web development in an environment with a number of
other developers is a plus.
- Ability to not step on toes and to be an efficient coder while also
being careful and producing quality work is important. This also entails
getting along well with the project managers and other programmers, you
know no lone wolfs here.
- Strong ability to multitask and prioritize.
*The Interview Process*
Interested candidates should submit their resumes to
Jordan at antharia.com. You must list your desired salary, which tells us
if you are even paying attention. Nothing like getting resumes from
people who want to be paid 3x what the job is offering. This position
pays $36,000 - $50,000 depending on your experience. This is based on a
36 hour work week. Full benefits include:
- Medical/Dental/Vision.
- Retirement Benefits.
- 36 hour work week with flexible core hours.
- Annual Retreat (aka, paid company vacation!).
- Pet Friendly Workspace.
- Casual Office Environment (Jammies Welcome).
- Uncompromising dedication to training & education.
- Fully Stocked Kitchen (Food & Beverages).
- Weekly Catered Lunches.
Candidates will be asked to participate in a phone interview, provide
code samples and participate in an on-site ½ day interview.
