[Yhslug] 'truth happens" -- nice youtube video from red hat

hi yhslug group,

   i ran into this very nice video about linux -- in the context of other
inventions of the past 150 years.

          interestingly, this video has been uploaded about 5 times to youtube.
the video i originally viewed had been watched 793 times.

           right after seeing that number i suspected the video had been
uploaded by others.

             do you see how the other uploaders are diluting the force of the
message?  this video could gather momentum to have a million video views -- but
only if people were not uploading it multiple times.

             the lesson learned? if you see a great linux video somewhere, first
check to see if it's uploaded to youtube before uploading it yourself. 

              youtube is as much an advocacy platform as an entertainment
platform. we need to use it wisely towards advocacy ends.
